hiya Mike,

just a little message to tell you that I have finally realised how to do Guide ML-maybe not it all-but enough to get the big piccys on my page.

If you want any help in tarting up your page-let me know-and I'll eventually answer.

But then-you probably understand GML-and it's just me that's thick LOL

I'm afraid your spotless record has been blemished Pam! I don't have a Dickens as to the confounded confabulations of this Guide ML jargon technobabble!

Steve does though, he tried to explain it to me but I didn't understand so he went off in a sulk mumbling something about reversing the polarity of the neutron flow...

lol Mike-it's nae bother at awe...

go to edit entry-go to the bit where it says change to guide ml and then hit da button that says change style-now at the top it says and

down at the bottom will say

once you've done that it's a matter of copying the code things-twill mean you can have a snazzy little drawing of a Tardis on your page! (like me)

in other words you'd type-

then...

the most confuzzling thing for me was never remembering to put the / closing thingy at the end of each command.

g'wan-a bright lad like you can do it! smiley - smiley

now as long as you have changed to guide ml-that'll work....honest!

ps smileys on guide ml are different-you have to type <Smiley type="the one you wants name in here"/>

try not to miss out the =s and "s...that's what I keep doing wrong smiley - smiley

Hello there fair Pam,

I had a go at Guide ML a while back, so I now have some links and a picy on me page (not the tardis though :0 ) I tend to get confused with it, because I use normal HTML sometimes to create webpages (never one to miss an oppurtunity to advertise his site, Steven whacks it's address in here: www.dailyness.o-f.com )

I tend to miss out the easy parts of Guide ML, and get the harder parts. I'll have to see what else you can do with it, since I haven't looked at my H2G2 page for the last six months or so...

-Steve
