Long time no see well not since last night but even so to see a familiar face around here has become almost as rare as a blue moon!
Everything going well? Planning another holiday fishing? NO, no sorry you don't like fishing, you don't fish, you're not the fishing kind.
Good Morning Steven

Good morning... um afternoon, Richard,
And how are you this fine Saturday? It is Saturday, isn't it? I'm really getting lost with the days at the moment.
No, no more no fishing holidays, for me, so I'll probably be around here, bothering people until the end of the summer.
I'm a bit annoyed at the moment. I've submitted the NEWS extravaganza, the Dailyness, to Google, four times now, and it still doesn't appear when you search. Grr. I don't know what's wrong with the people there. I'm trying again at the moment, but after that, I might have to try some different search engines. But, I personally, always view Google as the main one.
Even though I'm still adding new stuff, my visitor numbers aren't as high right now as they have been... looks like I need a better advertising campaign...
Anyway, how are you getting on? Much of interest happened? And, can I ask, you seem to have a lot of Big Finish CD's, do you, perchance, happen to have Flip-Flop? Or are you planning to purchase it immently?
Good Morning Steven

Steven, I have Flip-Flop and I should see a Doctor about it as well.
It's an 'interesting' story all around and it's true what they say- it is circular in no matter which disc you try the story still works!
As for myself I have recently completed a Doctor Who novella but because Telos has stopped publishing I am trapped with no where to exhibit it, my best piece of Who fiction that could be considered as a superior form of the Unbound Audios.
Though onto Google, I would consider recently Yahoo to be the one to go for mostly because of BT merging with it to become a vast internet service provider with a search engine on the side! Though go with your guns on Google.
Though I cannot for the life of me understand why no one wants to visit The Dailyness, it is a credit to you Steven as the editing, creating media maestro behind this astounding creation- Did that sound like enough buttering up?
Good Morning Steven

But is Flip Flop worth getting, Richard, or is it just a listen to once, gimmick?
I can't think what you can do with your Doctor Who novella... there aren't any more Doctor Who novellas being published at the moment, that I can think. Unless you can make it into a full length novel, or convert it into another Big Finish Audio, I can't think of anywhere else to send it. It's hard old world.
Anyway, I managed to submit my site to some search engines (mostly ones I hadn't heard of...) but I'm off to try yahoo now. I will get it on google... I will... eventually...
And, by the way, while we're on the subject of eventually, I will eventually interview you for my series of interviews on H2G2, I've gone a bit out of order really, I should have done Marian before Martin, but he asked me specifically.
Good Morning Steven

Well Flip-Flop is an interesting story- basically it's one story told twice allowing for both sides of the perspective to be seen. Instead of a normal plastic case you get a cardboard holder with two single discs simply marked black and White and not actually coloured.
Though in some minds it can get a little tedious with over embelishments of deja vu in places, a few continuity changes between stories but there really is no end to the story, it just keeps going around and around.
Though the backstory behind Flip-Flop involving Quarks does sound more interesting, a shame we don't 'see' it
******
Though on the subject of the novella it's really just a novella, it cannot be adapted to a larger novel and it wouldn't work terribly well as an audio. There are moments in it that are pure Doctor Who and others that are simply not.
******
Though via Google and Yahoo I found your h2g2 page as the second one down from search: The Dailyness so you're on the right track there! Just keep at it and look out for your counterparts: Steven Ford is quite famous, I'm an Aeronautics professor, Lance is a player in an Ice Hockey Team, Lindsay is a 18th century scientist and Mike works for the government.
Yes I looked up the names over the net and I found them all!
*******
An interview featuring me? Gosh, I am excited, I can't wait to see when it is aired. Will I reach Prime Time or will you put on after the watershed because of some really chilling tales of terror....
Or possibly not?
*******
How are you by the way, dealing with all this heat in a rational manner or trying to enact an Indian rain dance to quell the fires of discontent out on the streets?
Good Morning Steven

I thought you were going to say that the black one was white, and the white one was black... that would be "interesting". Would you reccomend it then, or should I go for Lazerus instead? I haven't bought a BF lately, for one reason and other.
Have you got all of the Big Finish CDs now? And the Dalek Empire, Unbound, Benny ones too? I haven't had a look at any of the "spin-offs" yet, since I can't even keep up with the trunk ones.
I always thought the most famous Michael Mills was the one who first commisioned Monty Python. Somewhere in the origins of Doctor Who "Penny Mills" crops up (I'm looking out for Martin Mike now). I like browsing through the internet for random things. A friend and I ordered some mail order pies the other day... from America. Apparently, if they're not hot when they reach you, you get 50% off. We told them we'd pay on delivery, but they don't seem to have turned up yet.
Is it as hot where you are as it is here? All my blue-tack melted this morning, with the dissastorous consequence that all my posters fell down... anyway, I'm off to get a drink of something cold... I would go and get some tea, but you can't drink tea cold... well, iced tea, but that doesn't count.
Good Morning Steven

Hmm.... If you liked Twilight and wished that there was more of Nimrod then I would suggest getting Lazarus. It has an action-packed plot, great characters and a good old fashioned resolve.
>Have you got all of the Big Finish CDs now?< No, I still have to get Dark Flame and The Pirates, Dalek War 2&3, Sarah Jane Smith 4 and no I don't have the Benny ones but of the first two Unbounds yes- These are very good Steven though they are about 75-80 minutes long they are exceptional stories and the Doctors Bayldon and Warner are simply perfect for the role, a shame it's only a one-off season.
Michael Mills- Intramezzo Chairman of CEO 30 years of Senior General management.
Martin Penny- Director at UKRO- UK Research Office
Lance Bayliss- Michigan Hockey star player
Steven Ford- C.R.C. Formulation Unit, Department of Pharmaceutical sciences.
Nibbles- a bus company!
Something cold to drink? I'd recommend icy lemonade with plenty of ice cubes in it!
Good Morning Steven

Oh yes, it is baking down here in a constant dry heat, though now a breeze is getting up thankfully. A tip to cool down I learnt while I was in Turkey two years ago, stand in the shower fully clothed and drench yourself in ice cold water. It really does work!
Good Morning Steven
Chewable Acidophilus Posted Aug 10, 2003
I will have to try that shower trick sometime... actually, I might go and try now.
I've found an ancient desk fan, which I've got aimed at me, but all it seems to be doing is blowing all of the hot air into my face, which would be quite effective for warming me up, I guess.
Good Morning Steven
Nice-Dalek Posted Aug 10, 2003
Keeping well today I trust, not so hot for you is it or are you the slightest bit tempted to join everyone else at the coast?
Oh and as for the shower it really does work, though fear not for tomorrow promiseith by the immortal Michael Fish's disciples that rain will fall from the sky and we shall be eternally drenched for as long as the rain lasts.
Though on the Big Finish surface: What particular spin-offs were you looking at? I have all of Dalek Empire, most of Dalek War, nice little excursions into Masterplan/ Dalek annual territory though the Sarah Jane audios are quite good to get hold of and YOU MUST: Get the Unbounds!
Yes they're that good!
