It helps since I am going into a week of major surgery and recooperation for my 12 1/2 year old and my moher and father-in-law will be here for two weekends in our bedroom because the other end is still a construction zone

I need all my strength for what I know is coming.

Time to lay off the all the news again after this round
I have to say Roberts is definitely less scary than Scalia or Thomas.
He did a really good job during the confirmation hearings.
Conservative for sure , though not *obviously to the far right. Hopefully he is who he says he is, we should not be in too bad of shape with his seat. Have to hope for fair and reasoned compassion conservative light for the other seat Bush needs to fill.

We shall see what happens. Traditionally, Roberts has upheld the Constitution regardless of his personal opinions. Let's see if he can (if he's confirmed) continue that trend. I'm not holding out much hope, but anything is possible!

Just how much did that cost and what real help did it offer?

Seems the tax payers are paying 1,200 a week to house people on cruise ships. That is more than it costs to take a cruise
1,200 a month ( Not Week!) would pay for an apartment or home rental.


The contracts and waste are naueseatingly accepted without opening bids and they are from out of the states that need the help and work. They say it is unsafe and instead laid off state and city workers.
The new workers are being fed and housed
There is an ingestigation beginging.
*sigh*
Lets see now how many millions will that cost us?
