Apparently the Fla elections are already being questioned. There is a problem with some ballots and some investigations and now they want ot add Nader. Bush does better (2-4 percent)in some states where Nader is on the ballot

The UN (is that right?) is sending a delegation to oversee our elections as we have done elsewhere while promoting Democracy. It was not welcomed but I think will happen.

There is talk of a congressional investigation into both Kerrys and Bushs military record. Sad we have to have an expensive investigation instead of the truth.

Kerry voluteered and served.
His father had connections too, he could have avoided it.

Bush was selected for the guard, a safer way ( at that time)to avoid Viet Nam. He did not take his physical (neither disputed)or complete the number of flight hours expected of him. The pilots were the elite group and most followed orders knowing they were lucky to be there. AWOL was enough to get you kicked out or sent ot Viet Nam, the AWOL rumor is still in dispute.

George was in Colorado saying that he was working to get the Guard firm word on when each can come home for good.

The next day Kerry told of the planned call up after the election.

The troops have been pressured to sign up for more time. The Rocky Mtn news paper (leans right)has an article about how the troops have been encouraged to sign for more time , it is insinuated that if they do not they might go back to Iraq to finish any time left. There is a good chance they may either way.

Have you heard anything about the election maybe being postponed or even cancelled? I heard something back in July or August, and it's a scary thought...

Kerry may be ahead in Illinois but how's he doing over the rest of the country?

Nah they will not postpone the elections.
They will have the military out in full force if neccesary
Although Florida has a lot of cleanup and some problems...

The Iraq elections(January) may get postponed.
Hopefuly not Afghanistans but it is possible (October).

It is still pretty even for K-B but Illinois was an undecided state before
