Cute. Just saw smiley - sheep at the State Fair Monday. None of them were kept alone. I'd imagine having to go to the fair is stressful for them but I wasn't paying attention to notice. Now I wish I had. Sunday I also went to the Ren Fest here and one of the things we saw was a border collie demonstration. The had a small flock of smiley - sheep and one smiley - blacksheep and had several smiley - dogs (one at a time) herd them around a small area. Those smiley - sheep were very focused on eating the grass. Everytime they were allowed to stop moving they'd immediately get back to eating. They didn't seem stressed.

And abbi, are you saying that you are stressed here too? Anything going on? I hope everythings OK.

I like all the bunnies and rooster varietiessmiley - smiley
If we go I'll check out the smiley - sheep faces.
Boy you can really tell from those sheep expressions Huh?
I looked like that stressed sheep yesterday morning.
Scary way to wake up!

I found that while browsing for the latest news on stress reduction.
Sidenote;
I read that acute static stretching can be bad for athletes and elderly and those with certain muscle conditionssmiley - yikes They say it affects speed and balance especiallysmiley - erm Never read that before and still wondering about it! Goes against all that has been preached.
It is in a respected medical journal.

This could explain my worsening each time I was in physical therapy. They finally said I do better job on my own so I should keep it up and stay away from them!smiley - laughHave not hurt myself since and not gotten worse as fast as expected.

I swear it takes all the self control I have sometimes..
I ..2 ...3
Hope tomorrow takes less.

I am so glad that writing helps me with anger, stress and problem solving. Had to write up a storm last night and thankfully I tore it up before going to sleepsmiley - evilgrin

I boiled the toil and trouble down to a glare and a glaze and delivered a brief message to hubby this AM. I am at my limit and it is September and I am really trying to be patient but I am not feeling particuarly generous right now.

He gets that after decades of Septembers.
He figured the rest out, he knows he was being difficult and smiley - weird
A much nicer fellow came home saying a genuine sorry for being a poo head. Or as PC would say - "sand in your V"
I am so glad I did not explode but did express the meat of it. Glad I wrote more instead of oozing black goo all over slowly and painfully and NOT on h2g2 eithersmiley - winkeye

Ok then ready for a bit more stress relief.
One baby step at a time isn't it?
smiley - whistle
I can even laugh about a couple of my disgruntled statements ( to myself) today -- tempted to share them but No, better not!

smiley - giftAh caught myself laughing again!
smiley - footprints
Oh and thanks for your smiling picture Ellensmiley - biggrinBaaaaa

The first post I read was a story from my first or second chapter of life. The first bad September I can recall. Troubling some things are no better, but I know that every day. It is just weird timing and
my angels are nudging be to move on through it.

Glad you're feeling a bit better abbi. It's my turn to feel smiley - yuk today it seems, it's very hot & humid here, maybe that's half the problem, building up for a storm maybe? Anyway, I'm incredibly tired, achy, bad tum, usual nasties. Like you, i've got the sweaty bad dream stuff too. Hoping i can manage to sleep tonight & that tomorrow will be better.

Any news on the hurricane? I've been looking on BBC news, but not sure where he is based.

So has he been evacuated? It seems incredible, the sheer number of people that are having to move. Saw pictures of the massive traffic jams of people trying to move northwards, horrendous. It would frighten the life out of me, the possibility of being stuck in a traffic jam when it hit, i would be far more likely to hole up at home & take my chances; probably the wrong approach.

When we had the real big one here, we had just left the mobile home & moved into town, so nothing bad happened to us. But the mobile home got completely trashed, no pieces left that wouldn't fit into a carrier bag. If we'd been in it, we would have had no chance, so i suppose we were lucky.

Are you able to keep in contact? Will mobile phones still work when it hits? Hoping & praying it isn't as bad as they are predicting.
