abbi normal "Putting on the Ritz" with Dr Frankenstein

Will I ever find him? (spelled 2 r's) Last saw him when he was 5 1/2. I do not know if he knows I exist, he may remember a playmate, maybe not. If there is an after life surely we'll meet there. Far right corner! smiley - winkeye

He is my younger brother. Garry Lee was his birth name,
~Indiana ~
Larry, his twin is buried in Hagerstown Indiana. Garry Dale Marriot 2nd name (Doris & George Marriot were the 2nd parents)
The ? third.
He'd be 46 or 47 years old I believe, in July

I will never loose hope ,he'll pop up some day.

Hi Abbismiley - biggrin, I really hope you find and make contact with him, is there a database there where you can search for lost relatives? I lost contact with my sister 10 years ago when she refused to accept my new wife! Any way Abbi, I feel for yousmiley - ok

Good luck Abbi with completing your family.

A personal question, you can answer or blow raspberries at me if you don't want to! How does it feel having such a fragmented family? Do you feel whole or empty or even somewhere in between?

I feel I have a fragmented family all right!
No one arm has anything to do with the others. I feel I am an island. Pieces float off and then settle back in with the tides. I am isolated by geography. I was never able to depend on consistency of family much ,so I have never really done so. It is odd to others I suppose. Just like my name, I am not particuarly attatched to it!

It is weird to have found so many in a decade and then have so many deaths in a row these last 2 years. I am grateful for my brother S and twinny and bio brother D, my Godmother and the Auntie & Uncle thats left. They are not connected to another at all, but it does not matter. I have not known any different. I have several friends that I consider the family I chosesmiley - winkeye I am quite connected to others, just not the usual lineupsmiley - smiley

Hi Abbi,

I hope you find him. Yes, it's weird isn't it? My dad was apparently married & widowed before marrying my mum, so there is a pretty good chance I have half-brothers/sisters out there somewhere too. The chances of finding any of them seem more & more remote as time passes. If America is anything like UK, to find family when there are no existing relatives around to give you information is almost impossible unless you have loads of money & can employ someone to spend a long time searching for you. It's always compounded when you aren't sure of real names, dates of birth or death etc; plus in my case my dad was Irish & the wretched Irish Archives burnt down in 1922; being Irish, no-one had thought to keep copies somewhere else!

Fragmented is one way to put it!!!

Thank goodness you found Twinny!smiley - cdouble

Thanks for your good wishes Kaz, in finding my 1 remaining lost sibling.

He had so many traumas by 6, I so hope he had a reasonably good life. He was adopted the 3rd time, as far as I know, I hope so. That was the plan anyway. His privacy was protected by the court, it was a big news story in 1961-62.

I talked to the lawyer that handled the prosecution of G's parents (not my parents) a few years ago. It was his first case, and he was bragging to me, about how it launched his careersmiley - ill made him known in several states! He "did not remember anything about the child* and had not ever thought about it or checked up on him. Grrrr. It was the most insensitive conversation with a stranger in my entire search.

We have not even gotten to the halfs and steps out there. I would not know them at all. I would not be opposed to it nor twinny. I do not have the emotional energy to strt that! I just want to know Garry had a family and a reasonably good life. It has been a long road doing these 10 that knew and remember each other.

This brother is a full brother or at least we grew up & played daily(neighbors) until the day he was wisked away. He saw me last when he saw his twin last. He was a ward of the court and was to be adopted quickly and privately for the third time! smiley - yikes That is why I haven't a clue. Always thought he would be one of those marvelous coincidences that smiley - magic happen in life.

We have the same parents we were just adopted seperately so his parents that murdered were never parents of mine. *confusing I know*
