with Mr Susie (for ever), Richard (sporadically) and Greig (till the summer, probably)(fingers crossed) in a house owned by the Royal Bank of Scotland!

10. FAVOURITE COLOUR? usually the brightest yellow (hence the front door) but sometimes green if I'm subdued (not often!)

11. HOW MANY RINGS BEFORE YOU ANSWER THE PHONE? as few as possible, I'm a natural chatterbox

12. FUTURE CHILD'S NAME? there will be no future children, I've found out what causes them!!! Used names include Richard and Greig, although a daughter would have been Charlotte or wee Susie.

13. WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS IN LIFE? good health and good friends, anything else is a bonus.

14. FAVOURITE FOODS? anything I cook, but especially my homemade kebabs with chilli sauce, and my chilli con puerco, the hotter the better!

15. CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA? vanilla for three weeks, then chocolate (run for the hills!)

16. DO YOU LIKE TO DRIVE FAST? I LIKE to, but obviously I never drive faster than the conditions allow as that would be reckless and not appropriate for someone who has to be a role model for younger people (did I get away with that one, Andy?)

Any particular pub in Edinburgh?

I have been known to frequent a few!

Any particular pub, you say? Er... About any of those you can walk to when starting from Springfield (near Leith Walk): Fling & Firkin, the Malt Shovel, the Basement, there's one in a small passageway (the Outhouse?) I can't remember the name. It's been so long I've been there .

To tell me the way from one point to another, my friend Kris used pubs as marks: "after the green pub you turn left", "the shop is just after the Royal Theatre pub", and so on .

Pubs are great for finding your way about, aren't they?

When I was a student in Edinburgh, we knew every pub within a ten mile radius, or so it seemed.

Happy days!

Rose Street was a favourite haunt, loads of pubs there!

It was used as a favourite pub-crawl field, it is said.

And with good reason!

I never made its entire length although I tried on a number of occasions!

Maybe it's time to try again!

I wish we could just try together . Maybe we should get something organised ?

It's been ages since I had a night out there.

I went to the theatre in Edinburgh with Mr Susie recently, but that's not a pub-crawl...

I was there for christmas two years ago (so long ago ).

It is always possible to combine theater and pub-crawl, but it is strongly advised to start with theater ...

Imagine the scenario if we did it the wrong way round!!!

I think I'd need to do one or the other, I'm too old for all that excitement in one session!
