Don't worry about the link - I am sure I can find a herd of moose ( mooses? Moosum? - what's the plural?). Wow 200ks huh - you can't get that far away from the sea in this country, which is good , but we don't get the same quality of waves .

i think the plural should be meese (goose-geese, moose-meese) but i think the generally accepted plural is moose.

I am from the sunny balmy UK - Tropical Paradise of Europe. I have a friend who is spending a year in Oz along the east coast. I also have a couple of friends who have just cleared off to New Zealand, but let's not get into that whole Aussie vs Kiwi thing!

Sorry I didn't reply last week but have had to deal with a family thing! Glad you ain't into the Oz vs NZ thing - it all gets very confusing, especially as a lot of the ancestory is all from over here in the UK.

Hopefully I will get a chance to sample some of that antipodean summer next year. I should be nipping across to Christchurch to see some friends. My friend in Oz is having a fantastic time, so much so that she is looking to stay out there a lot longer. Looks as if I will have a lot of people to visit over the coming year. It's such a shame

I do have one question - how on earth did you manage to make your homepage all wobbly if you wear glasses - it drove me nuts just trying to read it - I couldn't even imagine scripting it.

Hope you are well and enjoying the summer - we have just been hit by a storm with 100mph winds, so that has brought the whole country to a standstill - Nothing like the great British weather to keep you on your toes.

Yeah cool winds - very cold infact - it's totally freezing here too. So whilst you are sat in the glorious sunshine down under, spare a thought for those at the rough end of the planet.
