I'd really like it if you guys could be there.

what are the dates, what does it involves...and above all - what's a Zombie Con Az?
I'm not saying I'm not intrigued, and wouldn't go, but I've never heard of a Zombie con
If it involves walking around looking like the living dead most of the time - and going by my last couple of days feeling like it too, I think I'd fit right in.....

All I know is that it's called ZombieCon and it will be in July. Even that it will be in July is a recent development. Organisers are in communication with hotels. It's a Sproutlore event. The Sproutlore involvement is highly suggestive of alot of fun being had by all who attend. There will be I would guess some stunning dressing up. Some dancing. Some drinking. Some talking of toot. As well some other "unconventional" things.
At They Came & Shaved Us we had chicken fisting championships, a talk on S&M, cocktail tasting, icluding Rankins Revenge which was an Experience in itself, we've done a Jack The Ripper tour, we've walked in the Thames, had a cryptic clue treasure hunt around Brentford and much much more... I have few pictures from these things in my Rememberings of an Almost Random Nature set on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/85019020@N00/
Our Cons do sometimes have panels as you might expect at a Convention, but they have titles like "Pegs Of Pain".
I really do hope to see you 3 as many other friends from here there. I'll give you more info as I get it.

Information is scarce, I hope you'll forgive me for bringing it up without a wealth of details to give you, but since we've been doing some undead talk it seemed worthy of noting.
The event *may* start on the 18th of July and go on 'til the 20th July 2008.
The event *may* be held somewhere "in the middle of England".
I'll bring some white face paint and some black lippy along and truss anyone that isn't in full zombie clobber up and gnaw on their flesh until they succumb... Alternatively I just truss anyone that looks willing up and gnaw their flesh until they succumb...

I went to the Bierkeller once with Bob The Farmer and Saturnine but I was having a rather bad reaction to some weed I'd smoked, so all I remember about that is that I was having a lot of paranoid thoughts and trying not to pass out. And that it wasn't just paranoia telling me that Saturnine didn't like me so much.
Still I had fun at the I Kamanchi launch party, at the Academy I think it was...
I'm unilaterally setting a rule that Fandom Of The Operator by Robert Rankin is a required reading between now and the Con.

It'll be a weird for me, I'm used to mingling with strange Northern Folk.
Anything the wrong side of the Thames is Oop North to me.
I forgot to emphasise that if buy, read and bring that book along you will get it signed by the author at the con. And any other Rankin books you care to get.
My globe trotting copy of Voodoo Hangbag is still in Germany I think. But I'm I arrange for it to be sent onto you guys if you're interested in taking part in my little Around The World book project.

[email protected] is my spamable e mail address for anyone here that wants to reach me.
Since that's where everyone else is going for the afternoon I'll try to get along to Somerset House, if I'm running late I'll head to the Soane's and then the pub.
Sadly none of my recent pottery creations have been fired, so I shan't be handing out random lumps of bunrt clay to people. I'll leave that for another time.
