Had my Venlafaxine increased today as one of my psychiatric consultants felt that the 150mg dose wasn't dealing effectively with residual symptoms of depression so tomorrow I'll get 225mg prescription filled... we're both satisfied that the 10mg dose of Olanzapine is helping me make progress with the self harm... despite the stay in hospital a fortnight ago with cuts to my arm...

I have the oppertunity to move into supported accomodation... I haven't decided if I'm going to take it yet... I feel quite ambivilant about it... things haven't been so bad here recently and if I choose to go to residential education rather than work it could be more stressful than staying... but on the other hand it would give me a certain amount of independance and freedom but within a shared home... i don't know what the people at this house are like and wether I would get on well with them or just how ill they are... so I'm kinda scared about going from the frying pan into the fire... also it would likely mean giving up internet access so I'd loose my only friends...

Independence is always a good thing, if you explain your anxieties about moving into an independent environment, couldnt they let you slowly adjust, say, you stay there at first 3 days a week then slowly increase it?

try staying there a few weekends so you can get to know the others gradually and see how you all get on
might be easier than a big move
