h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It's Sussex Beer Festival time, didn't go yesterday because I spent another day in bed. Which was not needed or constructive or convenient, I just did it because it was the easiest thing to do.
I had wanted to go to the cinny.
I've had no sleep, since, and now I'm very tired.

Shall go along today, drink beer, smoke cancers if the Hove Centre is kind enough to have provided a fag area, maybe even talk to some people if fatigue and fermented brews allow me to remain concious. And if I'm able to walk I'll drop by the engineroom and relax to thumping rock and metal.

Enjoyed the will drink more tomorrow. Dispite having spent a stupid amount of money tonight on beer, shirts [I was drunk], taxis [I could not be bothered to argue] and entry fees.

Feeling down right now, but I had a good time beforehand.

Didn't go back yesterday, too exhausted and my neck feels like I've got whiplash.

Too much headbangin'?

Aye, the strain goes at my neck rather than the waist.

Headbanging from the waist? Sounds awfully enthusiastic. Give me a nice cup of tea any day.

I used to go to these rock nights at the Students' Union where there was the most heavenly headbanger I've ever seen. She dressed in rock chick clothes, but had an air of innocence about her, like she'd spent all day talking to fairies. She'd shut her eyes and move her head around really slowly, with her long hair flopping across her face and draping over her shoulders and catching the light... Couldn't keep my eyes off her. I tried chatting her up once, but she thought I was just being friendly, and I didn't have the heart to explain.

[I can't remember the last time I drank that stuff...]
Y'know what I mean though, hands to the sides and thrash your entire upper body up and down - with optional "hair windmilling".
Not that I've enough hair for that.
