They're moving Uncle J into a nursing home in my town today. They're going to focus on stroke recovery and not worry about chemo at this point. His white cell count came down to 55,000. Still not good but much better than 195,000. MIL is moving into my house tonight for a month, maybe a little more. They don't have the abstract done on her land. So, that sale hasn't gone through. The house she's buying still has people in it. Their house has been delayed. I think MIL is supposed to be able to close on 9/22. I'm hoping Mr. Emee's sister will step up and take a turn or that MIL will remember she still needs to pack for the move.
My mom & her husband are coming up this weekend to watch 2 of my brothers in a duathlon. Yes, they're crazy. J1 is a better runner, but J2 is a better cyclist. I don't think they care how they finish as long as they beat each other. I'm sick - sinus infection and working on bronchitis - so I don't want to go anywhere or do anything but I know my name would be mud if the girls knew Grandma & Grandpa were in the vicinity and we didn't visit. I think I'll take off work on Monday. Not sure what I'll do. Maybe hide out at the library since MIL will be at the house.
