I got to Zumba a little late and am thankful for that. If I had been there on time, I would have had to shake it in front of all those mirrors for even longer. I think I like it but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be sore later. I'm still high on endorphins though. Think I could get to use to it.
Mr. Emee got his butt out of bed in record time today too. He had enough time to stop for and still get the girls to daycare well before they officially open. We might need to see about keeping this as a regular schedule and I could use a treadmill or eliptical on days I don't have class. Got to work early so now I can leave early and get dinner going so that we can be at swimming lessons for the girls at 6:30.

I keep thinking of an mp3 player that vacuums the rug while you're away.

So you're doing a class? I've heard about zumba but think I'd have to buy the DVDs. I need to find some sort of exercise that is actually fun. I can never stick with the boring stuff.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! It gets better once you get the routines down. Do you have the Zumba shuffle down yet?

No, that's when you push the button to randomize the songs on your vacuum/mp3 player.
Today went pretty well. A lot of new moves and my legs were sore. Did you know there are little muscles at the top and outside edge of the thigh? I had forgotten. I can 'do' the shuffle, if by 'do' you mean shuffle right once and then left once and then march in place because my legs hurt and I'm seriously out of shape. I know it will get better. I passed two people in the tunnel Tuesday morning on the way in to work. Was very proud of myself. The class is only 3 weeks so I'm looking for things on the schedule to fill the gap. I'm thinking about just treadmill or something MWF and weights TTh. This class will be a good way to work up to doing more.
Something I noticed just from one day of class - yesterday no class and I was exhausted and grouchy and Tuesday after class, I was still exhausted but I felt better just because I knew I had done something good for myself. Same thing today. I was up nearly 2 hours in the night with baby (she thought it was play time) but because I put a roast in the crock pot before I left for class and then did some exercise, I have a sense of accomplishment already for the day. So even though I have a lot on my plate today with work and meetings and swimming lessons for the girls tonight, I feel better prepared to handle everything. Who knew?
