Emee, out from under the rock Started conversation Sep 24, 2007
I've been having bladder/kidney problems for quite a while and finally got referred to a urologist. Had urinary tract x-rays and last week the doctor said there is something on them in my bladder - not cysts but something, probably scarring, maybe lesions from all the UTIs since childhood. Either way, I have a CT scan scheduled for Thursday now and cytoscopy set up for Oct 18. I hope they know what's going on by the 18th.
Good Things:
I have good insurance.
The doctor's office has really low exam tables that can be raised to whatever working height the doc prefers so I don't have to take a running leap or bring climbing gear with me.
I'm not a 50+ yr-old white male who smokes stogies every night while sitting in front of the TV, drinking a 6-pack of cheap beer after a day of working at a paper mill.

Thanks. So do I. Had the CT scan yesterday so I should be able to call in for the results sometime next week. *fingers crossed*
