One thing I really am not enjoying about pregnancy is the pants (trousers). They are saggy and have a stretchy front panel that extends from a few inches below my navel all the way up to the point that I have to tuck the waistband in just under my bra line. I call them 'funny pants'. The elastic isn't strong enough to keep them in place so I have to keep pulling them up/adjusting them throughout the day. They are also too long in the stride.

Ahhhh, poor old Emee.........i'm sure that you'll grow into them
You have to pull them up to the bra-line NOW they must be BIG pants

The pants really are awful. They're the old-school ones. There are newer types that are designed to be worn with bellybutton showing tops. I'm not sure which is scarier.

Emee - you never cease to educate me!!! I never thought about the "big pants" thing....doesn't anybody do sort of cool pants for waiting ladies?

Motherhood Maternity has some cute jeans, but the pants are just pants! Seems like you're supposed to give up being remotely fashionable and wear un-cute tops with ooky flowers on too. Hmm... maybe I've found what sort of business to open...

A colleague of myine in a faily high profile job spent £350 on a really good suit when she was expecting - on the basis that she had one thing that made her feel good when she wore it!
Hope you and little one are fine

That seems like a lot of money - but I can well understand feeling better when you know you look good. Baby and I are both fine.
Are you going on holiday again? Noticed somewhere that you were going to have Greek food in preparation for leaving or something.

Glad to hear you're both fine...
Yes - off to Crete on 28 September - this was all booked last year when the finances were in slightly better shape. But, Hell you only get one life!
Oh - started a new job today - went there as a temp at the beginning of July and never left. And its only 3 miles - with "gas" prices at (I think) about 5.1 dollars a gallon, I really didn't want to travel..

Glad your job has worked out for you. And here I thought we were abused having to pay $1.65 + per gallon! Working as far from home as I do, I couldn't afford to have a job if prices climbed that high. We'd have to move or I'd have to find a new job.

I think I did the sums correctly - £3.65 per gallon and rising......thing is here it's now priced in litres so until you do the math, you don't realise how bad it is....
I temped for 2 weeks 10 miles from home (1 hour journey each way) and I put £25 of petrol in my little car!!
