Well really it's across the street. It's a beautiful but dilapidated old house with stained glass in a window where the staircase must be and a leaded glass front door. It was owned by an elderly man who eventually moved into the garage apartment and later into a nursing home. I'm not sure who owns it now, but they don't take care of it at all. There is a 2nd story window that's been broken out forever and they don't seem to care at all that animals and weather can get inside. The other day there were 3 trucks parked in their yard, all from an oil company. There's an abandoned oil well in the back yard and Mr. Emee says he heard they are trying to cap it.

It's always a shame to see old houses neglected. Maybe someone will buy it and restore it.
Having the oil well capped sounds like a good idea.
