That's how long Peanut stayed well and off medications. Then yesterday she started running a fever and in the night woke up with ear ache and throat pains. Her temp at the office was 102.6F. That's after ibuprophen. Mr. Emee took her in again and the gave them scripts for antibiotics (again) and for allergy meds. I think it was the dust storm we had Saturday that did it. The air was thick with it and our abode isn't exactly energy efficient or air tight. She woke up with a runny nose Sunday morning and that's all it took for her to get an ear infection. I'm starting to wonder if maybe she should live in a plastic bubble.

That's frightening. Living where you do I don't know how you'll avoid dust. My niece had so many allergies when she was little. Thankfully she outgrew some of them. I hope Peanut does the same.

for the well wishes. She's doing much better and went back to daycare today. She was glad to be there too - gave her friend a hug and started in playing. She's getting a mouth on her though. She was lying down with her blankie by the front door and I asked her to get up so I could put her jacket on her. She said, "You leave me alone. I lying down." She's two going on 14 and doesn't like mornings any more than I do.
