Emee, out from under the rock Started conversation Aug 22, 2006
Had a call from the man I interviewed with last week for a procurement agent job. I got it! I'm completely thrilled and terrified all at the same time. As much as I complain about my current job, it's a safety net. It's something I know and something I do well. And I'm finally getting the hang of working these billing orders. It's my first job out of uni and all I've done for nine years and has provided a good background in analytical thinking, technical writing, forensic accounting and vendor/customer relations. But it's time to move on. I know that and have for quite a while but haven't gotten off my butt before now to do something about it. Still, it's scary as hell. Here's to working without a net.

Go for it Emee
That bold step into the unknown just might be the best thing you've ever done. You can go back and rectify mistakes you've made.......can't rectify chances you didn't take.

Thanks everyone! I'm so excited & terrified. Need to write up my letter and turn it in. Just in case it all goes south, I don't want to be blacklisted here.
