fyi - Idi Amin Dada, ex-Ugandan ruler and heavyweight boxing champion, was living like a lord in Saudi Arabia with the spoils he bled from the thin artery that was Uganda, still wearing the 34 medals he awarded himself for heroism (murder), bravery (murder), patriotism (murder) and service above and beyond the call of duty (theft, murder, rape, persecution, fraud and genocide) - and they say crime doesn't pay!!
He was confined to the city of Jeddah in 1998 after the Sa'ud's caught him shipping arms to Uganda.

Muammar Gadhafi, as far as I know, Is still in Libya. He seems to have calmed down a little since the U.S. turned his home into a rubble mound - dust must have got to him. He wrote a book about Islamic socialism that has become quite a seller.

I was going to put the last two points in the reply thread to the journal entry you posed the question in, but then I read it! Bit too deep for the likes of me. Philosophy and politics are alien to me - I'm a simple person, and just don't get it. Well, maybe I get *it*, but once I get *it*, I don't want *it* any more.


I like the Taoist story too, I've got one, you may have heard it -

A Taoist walks up to a hotdog van and says:
"Can you make me one with everything"
The college kid serving replies "Sure" and loads up a hotdog.
The Taoist pays with a 20, which the kid pockets.
"Where's my change?" Asks the Taoist.
"Ah!" Replies the young student, "Change must come from within."

Oh well, guess I've drivelled on enough - now how am I going to type when they put that straight-jacket on me?

Did you see where Idi Amin is in a coma now.

Yeah! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy! Sources inside the King Faisal hospital have said he's out of the coma, but not expected to live for very long - his last wish, apparently, is to return to Uganda, but presidential minister Kirunda Kivejinja has balked at this, saying that if he returns to Uganda with a breath in his lungs, he will be tried for his crimes.
