Mid-sixties. Everton's centre-forward [from the days when teams really HAD centre-forwards) Alex Young ("The Golden Vision") is walking along Lime Street in Liverpool city centre.
Tommy Lawrence (Liverpool goalkeeper) is walking towards him across the street.
Alex Young nods a friendly greeting.
Tommy Lawrence instinctively dives in the gutter .....
ALEX YOUNG is still fit & active, and raising significant sums for various charities in a quiet let-me-get-on-with-it manner. He gets my vote .....
