h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

After two weeks, I'm really not sure I see the point. Sure there is a lot of information, and fairly accurate at that, but you can find that in a good encyclopedia. Right now there are simply too many gaps. As far as conversation goes... People talk back and forth, simply for the sake of hearing their own voices, or maybe seeing their words on a BBC site. (You can tell it's not for relevance, because even as people talk back and forth, nobody convinces anybody of anything, except that maybe they disagree a little more and agree a little less.) Can a forum be divisive then, instead of building some kind of community together?
I've enjoyed my experience here, granted, but... I just don't see the point. Maybe if I come back in a couple years things will be better- or maybe not. I'll stick around a little longer, and see what happens.

It's supposed to be a sort of new age religion derived from an older pagan religion. You can tell I don't know much about it yet, but that will change!

I don't know about the spelling for Jeminism, since I have no clue what it is. Unless you mean Shamanism. Maybe?
