Tumbleweed is my new word, I only recently learned what it means.
You know in western films when theres a deserted street, and just this dusty ball of weeds rolls across trhe street? That's tumbleweed.

Where shall I start?!
Apart from coming online to check messages and do the occasional post, I have been incommunicado since 3 days before Christmas, as my friend Paul (from Wiltshire) came to stay for a month.
He has stayed for the last 3 years and we get on very well
He snored like a tractor and got sent to the 'naughty bed' (no Ideno, not *that* kind ), which is a high sleeper bunk in the boxroom.
But it was nice to have someone to pull a with - even it did feel like I was his mother at times!
The cats have gone loopy, just as they got used to him, they have to get used to him being gone.
Spiggy has started acting like a naughty 2-year-old and WeeOne has nibbled the fur from her back legs and is starting to resemble a show poodle

I got lots of lovely
My birthmum sent me up some beautiful stuff - including a watch. The presents were great but it makes me go soft when I think of her getting pleasure in buying things for me (she told me she did).
(Don't get me wrong, I am not saying my parents get any less pleasure from buying me things.)
It was my half sisters 8th birthday last week. She is a very pretty girl - must run in the family
Paul bought me the Sharon Osbourne bio. I haven't started reading it yet but I think it will be interesting.
