I too am from LD, and soon it will be no more. I will not be paying for yoome2, so I guess h2g2 is all that's left.
What do you think of yoome2?

i think that telepest have made the biggest mistake that they could and if they have any sense of all they would keep ld.
its a good job that we have h2, or i would lose contact with a load of people..

I don't get in here as often as I would like, but it still beats yoome2.
I think that after Friday, we will see more people from LD using h2g2.
Unfortunately, I think there is many who don't know h2g2 exists.
Soon word may get around though, and they will get a link to here.

well, if everyone who says they are gonna boycott yoome, does it.. then it wont have that many using it..lol.
im still trying to find as many of the old crowd as possible and if the old crowd see this.. im not talking about ages..lol.

If you click on any smiley, it will take you to the whole catalogue of them, and there it will show you how to write them.
I'm sure you'll cope with h2g2, it just takes a little time, that's all.
I have yet to find anyone who has anything good to say about yoome2.

ive heard yet another rumour that ld is coming back..

my problem is, that email is playing up big time and i cant get into here very often. ive rung telepest, but they are a waste of space. im sending emails and not getting any replies.. so do i take it that email is playing up or no one wants to talk to me..lol.

if things carry on the way they are, we are all gonna have to go back to pony express.. its quicker..lol.

Email is the same here, we can't receive any emails at all, and it is a struggle to get into it, and when you do, it is difficult to load anything.
All that too after being upgraded. It is a joke.
I wonder if it's deliberate, to force people to use yoome2? It won't work on me though,, I won't ever use yoome2!

there is every possibility that the powers are trying to force us into using yoome. but as usual, their arrogance shines thru and they are so full of themselves, that they think we are all little lambs who will follow.

It's so good to have email back working again, you don't know how much you rely on it until you don't have it.
How are you doing in h2g2 now, finding it easier the more you use it? I know I did. It is brilliant once you get used to it.
It is not like LD, but it sure beats yoome2.

yes, h2g2 is getting much easier now.. ive discovered how to do smileys and how to get from person to person. its surprising how many people from across the world that use this as well. one day, i might pluck up courage to message one of them..lol.
well, email is still playing up, despite the upgrades. so if this gets thru, its a miracle..
im off to have a shower and titivate myself, before going out to see a friend..

Hi Helen, no it's not priviledged information, she is my very good friend and her name can be found on my friends list on my space for anyone to see.
If you ever come across Laguna Sunrise, she is my wife Moira, my daughter uses h2g2 as well. her name is Jodie. It isn't really, but that's what she calls herself in here!
