No I'm not at the moment. He's not online at the moment so I haven't heard from him since Thursday.

Oh yes, I caught up with that one. Some strange looks I got from varuious students as I sat here spluttering and scarlett.

Large wooden spoons are used for stirring large mixtures (
, Xmas Puds, soup etc). VV has been stirring things up a bit in various threads, eg. talking to (and teasing) a certain Master B about weddings. When someone has been stirring in conversation they are threatened with a presentation of a wooden spoon.
Does that make sense? It's an expression that's used quite a bit over here.
