it's been a while

Hullo all, I haven't been on in some time and i don't really know why. Honestly i don't feel like i've done that much this summer. I don't currently have a job as nobody had the heart to give on to me. This fact has made my parents rather upset so i've had a lot of work to do at home. A LOT of work. That's most likely why i haven't been on much.
I've also been reading quite a bit. I started reading the Discworld series by Terry Pratchette. Wonderful books, they really are. If you haven't read them then you should and that's all the reasoning you should need. So far my favorite has been Mort, but i hear there are much better. I love them all.
It's been a lonely summer, my best friends have left. One is spending time with his mother(his parents are split up, he's here during the school year and with his mom in the summer) and my other friend has up and joined the navy for some reason. I often find my self in the company of h2g2's very own DZ, and she isn't bad company to be with at all. I'd be rather lost with out her.
College will be starting soon. I start classes July 25. Woo-Hoo! It should be fun. I'm majoring in Broadcasting so perhaps i'll have my own show that'll turn out to be a cult creating book just like the late great DNA. How wonderful that would be.
Well that's all i have to say for now. Hopefully i'll be around more but not today, now i must go and look at a car that i might buy.

I know how you feel Skull....I was lucky enough to grab a job during the summer...lucky me...took me 3 weeks to find it.
Anyways college for me starts in like just under 2 months

Hey Johnny boy!! Sorry about your lonelyness. I would come hang out with you but I am lucky enough (ha ha note the sarcasm) to hold two jobs so I really don't have time. But hey since were going to the same college maybe then we can hang out!! By the way do you know what dorm you are staying in?

Wow, i have lots of people who want to hang out with me in college.
No, i'm afraid i don't have any idea where i'm staying as of yet. Hopefuly i'll find out some time soon. Other wise i may take up housing in the basement of the library, or some such location.
