Hello,

I am currently writing a piece for a Wildlife publication and I would like to include a picture from your site:

http://www.h2g2.com/entry/A87781855

Can anyone tell me how I can go about getting permission to use this image or if it is even possible?

Thank you

Thanks very much. The piece is for Springbok publishers and is about endangered species. It would be great if I was able to use the drawing.

Nice to see some interest in Willem's great artwork. It deserves a wide audience.

Maybe I'd better get in quick and offer my services as his literary agent. Just contact me at Honest Icy's Non-Exploitative Talent Services, c/o The Shakespeare's Head, Holborn (sometimes). Have a cigar son, you're gonna go far son. smiley - cool

Erm Icy that doesn't *quite* reassure me on your literary agenting credentials!

Hazeyjane, as far as I'm concerned you can use that picture. I can send you a different, higher-quality image if you contact me by email: [email protected]

What a fantastic painting - I love how the frog is made to blend in with it's environment, the patterns on its skin is mirrored by the patterns in its environment. I also love the gentle defocusing of the environment as we move away from the frog. Maybe that is a signature feature of the great paintwork of Willem.
