h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm liking the regularly changing content these days - the Ask h2g2 questions, the Quote of the Day, and especially today with the highlights from - great job italic(s)!

Seconded. I really like the way aspects of the guide are being advertised with these new features.
I was a bit startled, though, to find a link to my submission in on the FP, as this was my very first attempt at something like this. But hey, I had some very nice feedback afterwards, so I won't complain.

We wanted more activity to focus around the front page - to reduce 'static links' - and as long as you like it we'll continue to do it! The feedback is most welcome.

I used to like the 'Colour of the Day' too

Only trouble with that was, we ran out of colour-related Entries after a bit!

Something for the Eds to look into: two of the Smiley links from the Front Page (- A History of Smileys and - Acronyms, Smileys and Emoticons) link to the same page (- Acronyms, Smileys and Emoticons).

I'm delighted to see that they're promoting the "Suggest a h2g2 Smiley" page. When can we expect the next batch?

We are hoping for new smileys, yes. Not sure when exactly, but we obviously want ones that would be of most use to most people, in preparation.
