h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I posted this somewhere else so you might have already read it but:

I was thinking, yes it dangerous but I do it occassionally, why not implement some kind of password system for H2G2. So that you could log on to your research page from any P.C. without the need to go to e-mail and use that link.

This would help:
Well, me (U15700) as I log on to a computer used by many other people and have to delete all my temporary internet files everytime I log out in order to stop other people logging on to H2G2 as me. I also log on at home where this isn't a problem.

It would also help A.O.L. users and anyone else who server wont allow Cookies.

Just a suggestion, I'm sure there's lots of hassle involved though.

Not having to remember that silly url when you go to a new computer which hasn't got the cookie
