Need to unsub as trying to keep space clear ready for shut down of PS. I shall continue to goto 'retrive my details' and delete my h2g2 presence, at least once a day. I may do it once an hour, I want this over.
Please help

I don't think there is a way of closing down completely. But I think the Italics will be going home now. It might be a day or so before they see this thread.

goto 'retrieve my details', type in password as directed. Goto bottom of screen, click on 'cancel my entire membership', a window will come up giving various choices.
Tick 'remove me from h2g2', type in email address and click 'send'. A window will then say that 'Thank you. BBC membership will contact you in due course'.
Do this nearly everyday for a week and nothing will happen.
I hope this removes any further need for anyone to say you cannot cancel your membership.
