I've just recently tried changing the quote after my nickname, I clicked on the button and it told me that my preferences have been updated but when I went back to my PS it had reset to the previous version of the nickname... there's nothing offensive in the new quote so this may be a bug.

could be, but whenever I've put something too long in there (oo-er) before it's just chopped the end off.
