I've been editing my measlly two entries and I've noticed that when I go to the 'edit' page, the text in the text box repeats itself after each line - could my use of HTML tags in the text be a factor? I'm using BR and some format tags to prevent my entries from being BIG BLOCKS OF TEXT, but they are being processed unevenly - as well as possibly contributing to the text repetition problem. I hope that this is just a site-launch hiccup and will be fixed soon. If not, does anybody have a short-term remedy other than 'don't write anything'?

I found that when using aragraph tags to leave two lines, I got similar symptoms. The only sollution I found was to revert back to the old html-1 style paragraph tag pair around each chunk of text. This seems to work without problem (but as to how this fprum page will display, if someone decides to flip the switch, and allow tags to display in forums, is beyond me!)

I have a much better solution. Well, a bit better. Don't use at all; just use at the end of a paragraph. Problem solved!

Hmm... Are the H2G2 team inventing their own html standard here?

I'm having a major problem with my entries on my page. When I type them in to the text box I use paragraphing etc. as soon as I post this up to my page all teh paragraphing is gone and all the test is jumbled in to one big paragraph that is a real chore to plough through.

If it stays like this there's no way that I'm going to be able to get them accepted! Help!

You need to insert into the text for a paragraph and for a next-line.... this is due to some weird standard of HTML they use.
