Everyday I click on to 'My Conversations' I get a new batch of conversations I am subscribed to...yet most of them I have never looked at before and certainly never subscribed to before what is going on?

It looks like you have subscribed to PeerReview. Just go there and click the "Unsubscribe" statement at the bottom of the page. You won't get any new entries coming up on your conversations list.

You can subscribe to conversation thread as well as to the whole Forum.

You can also unsubscribe from both.

And do it quick, we only have a limited number of threads in our list for now!

Is it not to do with the forum it is posted to, like h2g2 feedback goes to all members, cause i havent subbed to this thread but it has appeared on my space

Negative, I'm running several accounts right now and none has any unexpected postings.

You will have to remove any unwanted conversations that started since you subscribed to the forum by hand (open, find last line and press [stop beeing informed] )

By the way, you'll find similar 'buttons' on the bottom of the respective page. That is where you subscribed in the first place.
