I've done all those except for "simple slot", which is correct, and "automatic industry", which doesn't sound right but I can't think of a suitable alternative at the moment.

I think that '"Robertson", with a square head' should be changed to read:

'"Robertson", with a square head, a Canadian invention and the best, most slip-resistant screw design ever,'

The word 'simple' is used several times in the entry, 'simple slot' just twice. Perhaps I should have given more of the context for your consideration: "Instead of a simple slot, there were two". Does changing it to 'single slot' make more sense to you now?

Shouldn't "Since Phillip's innovatory approach " be "Since Phillips' innovatory approach ", since the fellow's surname was Phillips and not Phillip? It's something I often get confused over, though. I may be wrong.

It should be either Phillips' or Phillips's, depending on whether the author actually says one or two s sounds. I've changed it to the first one.
