Lost Entry ?

Hi!

I just wonder what might have happened to the entry A344251. It has been submitted several weeks ago, and the search engine could find it by searching for "autobahn".
Recently, the entry is still present, but the search engine won´t find it any more. Nor has it passed any steps further into the state of being approved.

greetings

Bossel

Wow. That's strange, Bossel. I was also unable to pull up your entry in either the regular Power Search or the alphabetical listing search.

In any case, I do have some good news for you. Your entry is indeed farther along the approval process. You will find that Peregrin has created a copy of your entry so he do the final editing on it.

Visit this at:

You can click on Peregrin's name to visit his page and ask him more about the status of your entry.

Abi

Thanks Fragilis. The search engine can be a bit hit and miss at times It is a Microsoft product and we are currently looking at different avenues for improving its speed and efficency.

Thanks a lot, Fragilis. Gonna do that right away!

And, Abi, I hope and pray that some angel will take care of that somewhat less than divine search engine!

The situation seems to, er, disimprove.
Neither of the entries A344251 and A395372 can be found in either the search machine or the alphabetic index. And A344251 has disappeared from the list of Bossels entries, being replaced by A395372, which is a badly crippled extract. Hmmm... Think I'm going to look up that 'Benefits from Submitting an Entry' section again.

A395372 should appear at the top of the list created by the search engine once the editing process is complete. This will give you an advantage, in the long term. I can't comment on the "crippling" of the entry, except to recommend speaking with the sub-editor about it.
