As the info page has a section dedicated to the most recent postings, wouldn't it be a good idea if it linked to the actual post by adding "&latest=1" to the end of the links that it uses now. that would surely be better than sending everyone to the start of the thread.

No problem, that is what us muses (and mages) are for, to spot improvements and inspire people with the power to actually do something about them. Especially if we can see how to do it.
