I added some stuff to my page, and it won't save. I pressed update information, and it takes me to the updated page, but the url's different; its got ?s_fromedit=1 added on the end. Everytime I go somewhere else and come back, the page has reverted to its old stuff. How can this be fixed?

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, I didn't know where to put it

Not sure, the 'from-edit' bit is what you normally get when you edit a page. smiley - erm

"fromedit=1" is normal after a page has been updated.

Try reloading the page. That should solve the problem.

Various people have experienced caching problems like that.

You should first check whether your browser is set to re-load pages properly rather than cache what it thinks the contents ought to be. (NB the "fromedit=1" bit is a perfectly normal h2g2-ism.)

Failing a local problem (ie fixable on your own machine), you may be one of those unfortunate enough to be at the end of a chain of servers, one of which imagines it is being cunning (in internet bandwidth terms) by saving a copy of frequently requested pages instead of going and getting them anew.
