Copy and paste?

Has something changed under the bonnet to prevent copy and paste from working - or is it a problem at my end?
I use plain at work and have always had difficulty with selecting bits of text to copy and paste (either get the whole post or the shole page) but never had any trouble in brunel - today, in both skins, if I try to Ctrl C/Ctrl V then I just get a space pasted. If I right click to copy then paste the same thing happens.
Is it just me?

Which skin are you using TiT? This is a definite change that seems to be affecting brunel and plain for me - but I don't know where the change has been made. I can C+P as usual in other apps and I don't have any new hardware so it is either a software change at my end that prevents me C+P within hootoo but nowhere else, or it is a change at the beeb's end.

Traveller in Time default using brunel skin and a white coat
"More important in this: what browser are you using ?
Think the 'problem' is entirely on your side. Have you tried a reboot ?
I have been using four systems so far today Internet Explorer in three versions, Off by one, Opera, Lynx, Netscape. .
No oddities in copy and paste (they should be in a script concerning the text area). "

I know I am not the only person who had the whole post/page C+P problem as I've seen other researchers referring to it.
I am using IE v6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519CO. Don't know if this has been recently upgraded - we didn't get an email about it if it did.

I've experienced that in IE before and Traveller's suggestion worked for me. We've not done anything new that might have caused this though.

I@ve just copy and pasted fine in Plain, although as you note Kelli, you do always get the whole page up to where you've clicked.

I've always had the whole page C+P thing (on two different 'puters) when in plain, so rebooting doesn't seem to fix that maybe it'll fix this new thing though.

As far as I recall, plain skin (and some other sites) have always had that C+P bug. I think it's a CSS fault and, given its prevalence, is either a common error to make or comes built into a package that all those sites are using in place of doing their own designing from scratch.
