Israeli has chosen peace; It's Iran and Syria who don't recognise Israel's right of existance and Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah are all sworn to the destruction of Israel. Given that Fatah is a terrorist outfit yet part of the PA one must question Arafat's peace-seeking credentials too, not least since it was he who walked out of Camp David.
And the quote also neglects to mention the Arab countries' leaders' grandiosity too. The desire to be seen as the head-honcho Arab King drove the Israeli-Arab conflicts far more than any shared sense of cause with Palestinians.
