I have removed my name from this, and would prefer not to have my name associated with entries in future unless I have had significant input.
This doesn't work, because you're just presenting a series of facts in an illogical order. You need to write events as they happened, rather than trying to seperate different aspects of his career and adding a brief section on his life outside football at the end. I'm sorry, but culling a few lines from the PR thread doesn't change anything outlined above. Having the whole illegitimate child affair as a one-line footnote is a perfect illustration of the lack of personal details; in Argentina, this was as big a story as Princess Diana's affairs were over here.

I haven't got time to read through this at the moment because I've got to my son to the .
If the lack of personal details in this is a problem (bearing in mind it's an FM rescue) perhaps the title could be amended to something to reflect that this is about his football career only? That way someone else has a chance to write more info about his life later.

Sorry, forgot to say that doing that may help Annie to order the events chronologically.

My apologies. I've been rather blunt, and not very positive so far, which isn't like me (I don't think)! I have said nothing nice about this whatsoever - I blame moving stress, or just being a grumpy bugger in general. For the most part it's well written and will make a good Guide entry, but it does need some work.
Renaming it would be a good idea, perhaps to something like 'the football career of DAM' - but I feel quite strongly that it should be in chronological order, as most biographies are. The World Cup section should really be re-distributed elsewhere, and possibly the headers could be changed - I'd be happy to help if you think these are good ideas.

Apology accepted. I did wonder if anyone had read the original entry.
Title changed.
I like the separate section for the World Cup stats, and Jimster is always telling me the Headers are what is visible for mobile users, I can imagine people searching for "Maradona" then "World Cup"
I wrote the final para with the information requested and I'm happy with that and the input so far.
Thanks Naim and Skankyrich

Other than just brush aside my comments, I don't see what you've done to this since it was entered. I'm not bothered what has changed since the 'original entry' was created, just that the layout remains confusing and illogical.
