you copy it, then you paste it on your space, and, if you have ticked the "guideML"box, it appears on your space.

I can't get it to work, it keeps on coming up with a box showing

whenever I click apply and it says the tags are wrong. Doesn't GuideML work like HTML?

It works perfectly. When you edit the page, somewhere at the bottom you get 2 tick boxes and a "change style" button. check the Guide ML button, click "change style" then previeuw it.

Now it comes up with this

Inspiration has struck, and boy, did it hurt!
If you want to use a smiley in guideML you have to use the <SMILEY TYPE="...type..."/> tag, otherwise it gets seen as a normal tag.

Plain text you can just type. If you change the style to guideML you automatically get a and tag at the proper places.
