I think you'll be very welcome . We haven't sorted out the volunteers' mailing group, numbers of miners etc etc yet.
The Underguide is, I think, paused right now. Consolidating its position and awaiting further communication from High Command to the PitHead. The next step will, I think, be to gather a small group of miners to make an experimental foray and report back.
High Command are a little distracted at present so it may take a little time but we'll get there. Jodan is giving lessons impatience, sorry, in patience

Why not? For the time being the UG is accepting just about every application there is. But don't tell your friends, because it means me doing more work alphabetising the list

Of course now that I think about it, this conversation is on a miner page 
Anyway, it wouldn't hurt to read a bit of backlog (okay, so it would hurt a lot) and voice your opinions on some threads
