This is a nice piece smiley - smiley

May I suggest the provision of a few resources, such as websites and books on the subject for those who want to delve a little deeper?

I'd also be very interested in any information on the petroglyphs, and whether they are simply preserved or kept up by over-drawing (as some Native American petroglyphs are) by the Traditional owners.

Hi

I didn't notice this posting til now. I'll try and find some sites to link to (I was working from books mainly) but I don't think it should be hard to do.

The rock drawings are indeed kept up by over drawing, the site is still used in Anangu ceremonies. But I wasn't able to find out much about these ceremonies as they are, if not secret, then at least closed to outsiders. But I'll try and find something out about htem.

Thanks for the comments!
