You haven't explained what the #rrggbb bit means.

Basically, folks, you substitute rr with a two-digit code for the amount of red, gg with a two-digit code for the amount of green, and bb with a two-digit code for the amount of blue.

But it's slightly more complicated than that, because the two-digit codes are not base ten:

Having said that, many people use the brunel colour codes on their personal spaces, so this explanation is probably either unnecessary or is given somewhere else that I can't find.

Aww, no. Just use 00 for the r's, 00 for the g's and 00 for the b's, and you will be fine

Else, you can have fun experimenting... The word C0FFEE gives a nice ickish color, I believe. Birtdays of the dd,mm,yy format can make for unique personal settings. Or you could spell out other words... 1F00D1 or whatever your imagination makes work...

There's a nifty extension for Firefox which allows you to hover over any element of a page (including pictures) and it will show you the CSS colour code in the status bar.

ahhh not css, i've just started as in yesterday learning GuideMl and i've now learnt most of what i need for everday hootoo stuff but i looked at learning css a while ago and it look hard
