Have you tried rational discussion with [email protected] - it might help!
I think we could turn this into a fine Entry - h2g2 could do with a 'Welsh for Beginners' Entry!

I've already been discussing it with you. I don't think that what you've done now could go in, but a piece on the Welsh Language with a few links to online resources might be a great idea. The introduction to Welsh part of what you've written is worth keeping and expanding on...

Please do - maybe if the Welsh for Fish 'n' Chips was included in the Entry you could have your name back...

Yep - I meant if it was to get Edited. Would you mind me taking you through the steps to getting it Edited? It'd be worth it and they might even make a picture for it (although that's only a 20% chance, mind). The plan would essentially be that we both kept copies of the Entry, and each one would work on theirs in turn, with you copying my code and vice-versa until I thought that what we had was ready. I'm one of the h2g2 volunteers in the relevant areas - trust me, I'm an expert.
The cost: being given a credit on the side of the Entry (this is easy to do, and I wouldn't steal your thunder. It would, however, prevent me from receiving it to Sub-Edit, so you'd be sure of experiencing the Editorial Process at first hand)

Whats all that mean in plain English? (You want your name at the end of the entry as well as mine? If so, that fine by me as long as it makes a good entry.)

That's the idea. You seem enthusiastic, so I'm quite keen to help you out, having been onsite for nearly two years...
I see from your Personal Space that you're working on AS levels! Me too!

What one's are you doing? Any 'interesting' one's like me?

Chemistry, English Literature, French, History. What books are you doing in Eng? I'm doing 'Atonement' by Ian McEwan for coursework...

Wow! 'Hard core English!' I'm doing Othello, The Color Purple (thats not a spelling mistake! I know you spell colour with a U!), Great Expectations and some strange Six Women Poets thing for the poetry secton of the course. I also boast that I'm going to Cambridge university some time late April. (Only for a week-long course, which I don't actually think will be taking place inside the university itself, But it's worth mentioning I thought.)
So, anyway, you enjoying A.S. levels so far? I'm finding them a bit dull, but I joined the school press team for a little exitement. We're making a magazine to sell (obviously) to people in the area as well as the school!
You impressed with all that?

P.S. Sorry about the long paragraph.
P.P.S. Are you M/F? I'm guessing F, but can't figure it out through all the fogged brain issues I'm having! (Don't ask, it's best not to get involved!)

I'm on the editorial team of my school's official magazine - 96-page glossy photo-colour job that goes out once a year shipping 4000-odd copies. I'm also currently the MD of a Young Enterprise company which has done a good trade in fleece scarves - black and pink - and has made a tidy profit...

I told you my brain's seriously f****d up! Don't ask any questions and you wont get any seriousness! So, what kind of thing goes in your magazine?

It's pretty dull much of the time - 40pp sport, 12pp drama. It's official, so it can get pretty close to self-congratulatory toilet roll.

Sounds Good to me! We're only just setting ours up so it's a bit on the thin side at the moment! I'm in the process of getting sponsors sorted out so we can actually afford to do the first issue!

Ours is long established - it's been about over a century and so it's an accepted cost for the school.

Ah, thats where we're clever! The head lets us do what we want! We're the only team doing anything, that the head says 'yes' to every time we ask him something. [hehehe] We're getting an office soon! That may not be too impressive to you, but considering he wont let the anti-bullying commitee have their own way... I think we get off pretty lightly!
