cant say ive ever heard of the polite etiquette of mooning! cant say ive ever heard of it being used as a sign of respect either - as it certainly isnt anywhere ive been - in fact it means quite the opposite! think about it - your showing your arse in the direction of someone...

It's a sign of respect from the victim if the offender's bum isn't injured in some way or other.

I don't know about mooning being a greeting but I think I'm gonna make it catch on. Or at least I would try but my bum is unfortunatly hairy.
