Wow, have we been following each other around or what!! Tell me more, tell me more!
Some people you may or may not know on hootoo who can tell the difference between a Green or an MGT while sitting on the khonde are:
Alsoran, see my friends page
Willem, just sent him something, no reply as yet, I'll try & track down a link for you.
Did you know that a popular theory as to why Chibuku was invented was that as it continues to ferment in the stomach, it expands, producing a feeling of fullness; don't need so much mealie-meal then; also it continues to get more potent, producing a population of nice, quiet little mildly alcoholic people who are quite happy not to have much grain in their silo's.
Hmm. Food for thought indeed. Never mind the opiate of the masses eh!
A VERY good article, thanks!
My stepson is a film maker, currently trying to make a film about his quest to return to Malawi & find his former houseboy, if you'd like a link (or email; any publicity welcome) let me know.

I had one holiday in Mulanje, and then some time later drove slowly through from Tete to Tanzania ... actually had my landcruiser craned onto the ferry (at Monkey Bay?) which gave all present kittens.
