Is it too late to change my mind? What do you mean, I'm already nearly done with my first trimester?
On the other hand, am I cruel enough to show this to my husband?

Hi, good to meet you and don't worry it's not all bad...they leave home eventually.
Good luck with the tests. A lot of people out here are rooting for you.

*adds this to her list of reasons not to get pregnant for a VERY long time*

You know that the first time you do get preggie, I'm going to remind you of this, don't you?
Oh, funny story--A friend of mine's daughter (I can't remember which daughter, as I heard the story Christmas day... But either the 11 year old or the 14 year old) doesn't exactly have a large pain threshold, and had announced she was never going to have children. Her mom started to explain about epidurals (the way I'm planning to go--I'm no ironwoman!) and got as far as 'You can get a shot in your back that makes it not hurt...' when the girl said, 'Shot?!? I'm going to adopt--there's lots of babies that need good homes.'

I think Kaz has the best idea of all. Last time I spoke to her on MSN, she told me that she was going to... bind... Mark's... responsibility in the matter... and pull on a tether ever time she had a contraction.
I've relegated myself to the fact I will probably spawn more creatures onto this earth, and very likely with Richard. But not for years. And not without ample compensation - I carry and give birth, he gets up in the middle of the night for the first... five years.

So you'd be bottle feeding then... 'Relse you're gonna make him fetch the baby...
I *like* Kaz's idea How is she, BTW?

Oh, no, these annoying things on my front are gonna get used. I'd just make him bring the spawn to *me* so *I* wouldn't have to get up. He can fall asleep in 5 minutes, I sometimes take 2 hours.
I haven't heard from Kaz for a while... haven't seen her or Mark online for a bit. Maybe next I see them I'll ask.

Or, if Clive has their phone number, have him call and find out why she's emptied her space...
