I have just started buying the DVD's of ECW but i hear a lot of the music is dubbed over due to copyright laws!!
Was this the case on your videos?
They look great value for money for the number of matches you get on them and are a lot more entertaining then WWE releases. For the amount these ECW wrestlers must have got paid, their effort is to be admired. Perhaps people like Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and co who get paid stupid amounts for hardly wrestling, should be embarrassed!!!
It was great watching it on Bravo, i loved seeing New Jack putting a staple into someones forehead and diving from ridiculous heights onto an opponent.
I think for Vince McMahon he would have done better had he kept ECW going as a seperate Federation but owned by himself. Wrestling Fans have no options but tp watch the now boring storylines which have been repaeated twice or more.
It needs an old Wrestler to come in and write some more imaginative plots like in the 80's. Although their wrestling was not as athletic as today, the microphone work was superb as well the great storylines.

The music was overdubbed because Delta video were too much of a cheapskate to buy the copyright. The general rule is that anything released after the video version of Anarchy Rulz 2000 is overdubbed. So that counts most of the DVDs. However, the best thing about ECW DVDs is hearing the bang in the ring through surround sound speakers!
