The forfiet is being divided. In relation to the cards first person to get out is the winner so get three hits of the then so on and so forth...
so if you get say a 9 and there are 6 players it would work out as
1 = 3 strikes
2 = 2 strikes
3 = 1 strikes
4 = 1 strikes
5 = 1 strikes
6 = 1 strikes
Does that make matters any clearer?
Sissys, yes come to mention it, there isn't anything said about not hitting hard, though roars of complaints usually go up. But if the person flinches or pulls their hand away as they're being struck they'll recieve double the original number on the card.

Oh I am going to be the most unpopular pansy on the planet, but I'm *not* going to process this entry for the Edited Guide.
I used to play this game as a kid and couldn't condone a game that caused me (and other italics) so much pain for so little gain.
Seriously, though, we steer away from games whose sole purpose is to inflict pain on others - even though they may enter it willingly.
Sam started playing this game as a kid, and look at him now...
As ever, I'm open to suggestions.

Oh you wassock Ashely! If it bothers you that much, why not call the forfit system an 'optional extra', would that satisfy your wussishness?

It's fine with me if it doesn't go in, I agree it's condoning the infliction of pain and if the Italics believe it shouldn't go in it's no skin off my nose...or knuckle as the case may be.
So it's okay with me I mean if you can find a way to make it go in without the injury etc then great, if not I'm sure it's a very good thing

Thank you Emily! Would you mind removing it from PR for me? Many thanks
KerrAvon,
I remain your humble wuss.

I quite liked this entry. Though I can understand how it was removed from Peer Review in case it encouraged violence but as h2g2 has entries on war and boxing, so with the right emphasis and tone I'm sure it would have worked. Emily, if you return to h2g2 would you consider either returning it to Peer Review or moving it to the Flea Market?

Yes, I second that - it is a well known game with many variations like Chase the Ace, which aren't all violent, so this could have a place in the Guide if Emmily wants...
