All I can say is that this is *insanely* long -- 4,500 words, or thereabouts. Personally, I think it would be more readable if it was split into 2 (or even 3) separate entries.
What do other people think?

That may be the case, but I don't think most people on h2g2 would be willing to read this version of the entry. It's simply too much text.
It's important to remember who your *audience* is for an entry like this. You're not writing this for a Scott Levy fan club, most of your audience is people who will have never heard of him before. I think many people would simply hit the "back" button on their browsers once they saw how long the entry was if they fell in the category of "never heard of him before" -- but the goal of your entry really should be to reach those folks, and introduce them to this wrestler. You can't achieve that goal if the entry is so long that it's overwhelming.
I see a couple of options:
1) Cutting down to a more condensed version. As any editor will tell you, there are *always* bits that can be cut out.
2) Splitting the entry into 2 or more parts. Maybe by which organizations he was affiliated with at the time, maybe by decades, maybe by the headers you have now.

The idea of dividing the entry into either decades or early and late years sounds good to me. Now all I have to do is find the time to amke the alterations.
